Keep It Blue Crew!

From early spring to late fall, we gather volunteers from individuals to businesses who want to make a difference in the lakes area! We have successfully cleaned up beaches by Miller's Bay, Bridges Bay, the bridge between Arnolds Park and Okoboji, and the Amusement Park. The best way to keep it blue is to take out what you take in. Also, be a lake champ and pick up any trash you see along the way. During the winter months, when you're on the ice, don't leave anything behind. In the spring, we also find dock builders throw their wood scraps in the lake, and this tends to be our biggest haul in the spring with the beach cleanups! If you own a dock, please request your dock builder to take care of their wood scarps. Thank you so much for being a part of the Keep Okoboji Blue mission!
