Aug 1-2: Anglers Bay dedication at Big Spirit Lake
Join the celebration! Keep Okoboji Blue contributed and supported the protection of 2/3-mile of natural shoreline along Big Spirit Lake and the restoration of 93 adjacent acres of bird habitat. We and a thousand other donors made possible the protection of this important site.
This is one of the most intensive and expensive land protection projects the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation has ever undertaken! Now INHF and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources invite you to its dedication.
There will be a guided kayak tour on August 1st, and a dedication with pontoon rides, hikes, kids’ activities and more on Saturday morning, August 2nd.
