Jo and Jerry Martin of Waterloo and Emerson Bay were so concerned about the threat of zebra mussels to the Iowa Great Lakes they paid to rent this billboard for a year and designed their own artwork. Their cost runs close to $5,000.

Billboard location: Highway 86 just west of Perkins restaurant set for westbound traffic.
